The Core of Beauty Products

Talk about a healthy glow. Puzzled by all the components in your lotions and potions and beauty products?

To separate fact from fiction and to help you know what’s really worth looking for in beauty products, you have to be mindful of the components that are written on the label. More and more people are flocking to all-natural or organic beauty products. But what does that mean – natural and organic?

There is a divergence between organic and natural. By definition, natural means the product was produced from botanical sources without additives or preservatives. While organic means food and plants that are developed without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms, or ionizing radiation. There has been no directive on what is natural and what isn’t.

Natural beauty products – They’re all the rage with supermodels, Hollywood stars, and the girls next door. But can these often costly products really make a difference on your skin, and if so, do you get what you pay for? Maybe not. If it’s prettier, gentler, problem-free skin care you think you’re getting, you could be in for a revelation.

When it comes to skin allergies and avoiding harmful ingredients, natural beauty products aren’t always preeminent.

Organic beauty products are the finest alternative for your skin, your health and your environment. There are no exceptions. No need to use chemical-laden, pore-clogging make-up. However, just because something claims to be organic does not mean that it is going to work on your skin. You’ve heard that beauty comes from within–well then, why put toxins on your skin (and in your body) all in the name of beauty?

Mineral pigments endow with consistent, natural color. Botanicals help to care for and nourish. All are open from parabens, petro-chemicals, talc, artificial color and fragrance.

Some may observe many of the organic ingredients enclosed in some of the fashionable skin care products lose much of their effectiveness when they are dried and ground into powders to be used in creams and lotions. So, before you advance to acquire any organic beauty products do some research into what science has established that they can or cannot do for you.

The most efficient skin care products are going to be those that contain natural moisturizers like avocado oil and jojoba oil. When developed organically and processed in an uncomplicated manner, these plant based moisturizers can do wonderful things for your skin.
Gentle and non-irritating for your skin – no spiteful synthetic components entering your body go with products that make you look and feel great.

No matter what beauty products you and your family use for your skin type, the preeminent thing you can do for your skin is to drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest. And, for those of us who put on make-up, the make-up should be as close to “mother nature” as possible.
