Shiseido Pureness Moisturizing Gel is one product that seems to storm the world right now. Is it an overrated product or does it really have some benefit? That is a hard and touch question to ask.
Pros
This product is ideal for people with combination skin. It leaves a matte finish instead of a shiny texture. It seems to be good for people with sensitive skin as well.
To some people it felt great when applied. It seems to moisturize well and absorbs quickly. Sometimes users like to mix it with foundation, which is a great combination.
It spreads evenly and glides quite well over my skin. For some people it has left no traces of grease at least at first.
It helps get rid of the tight feeling after a face wash for some people. It has been recommended for anybody with allergies, as it is less likely to cause a bad reaction.
Some people just like the fact that it is a gel. They also like the cooling feeling it gives.
Cons
The moisturizer of this product does not last very long. It seems that a generous amount is required by people with drier skin.
Not all consumers were pleased with this product. In fact some were very disappointed in it. It did a terrible job of controlling oil. Within 2-3 hours sometimes it increased production of oil.
