Babor Vita Review
The official website advertises Babor Vita as a company that is “dedicated to beauty in the sphere of professional cosmetics”. It is located in Florida and manufactures a complete line of products, including Day Creams, Night Creams, Lipid Capsules, a Concentrate, and a Mask. Babor Vita claims that their products are designed for all skin types and hence anyone can use them without qualms.
If we talk about the ingredients of Babor Vita Balance Night Cream, there is a long and exhaustive list- Mexico Honey, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Wheat Proteins, Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter Inactive Ingredients: Water (aqua), Isohexadecane, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Glycerin, Sorbitan Oleate, Limnanthes Alba (meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba) Seed Oil, Beeswax (cera Alba), Ethylhexyl Ethylhexanoate, Honey (mel), Microcrystalline Wax (cera Microcristallina), Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aluminum/magnesium Hydroxide Stearate, Butyrospermum Parkii (shea Butter) Fruit, Oryza Saliva (rice) Bran Mix, Triticum Vulgare (wheat) Protein, Panthenol, Hellanthus Annuus (sunflower) Seed Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Fragrance (parfum), Lecithin, Tocopherol, Caprylic/capric Triglyceride, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Pantolactone, Citric Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Alcohol, Alcohol Denat, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Isoburylparaben, Methyldibromo Glutaronitrite, Potassiu Sorbate and Beta-carotene (CI 40800).
The active ingredients however are just two- Jojoba oil and Shea Butter. So many ingredients in just one cream leads us to doubt if too many ingredients spoil the effects.
Overall Impression of Babor Vita
It is surprising to see that Sodium Hyluronate, which actually helps a lot to iron out wrinkles, is listed under the inactive ingredients, while Mexico Honey, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Wheat Proteins and Vitamin E are listed under Active ingredients - which are moisturizers and not really a wrinkle-fighter. So, Babor Vita has no proven anti-aging formula, and is a bit pricey.
There is also no return policy on the products, in case it does not suit you. Though they assert that their cream is for all skin types, the ingredients make it clear that it is for dry skin alone. Too many negative clauses make it a NO-BUY product.
