Kinetin is made up of various ingredients but the company wishes only to display two of them. The main contents of the cream are - Kinetin and Gluconamide. Kinetin has been tested by the company on animals which had initially shown positive results but no research has been conducted thereafter to prove its legitimacy on human beings. To further add, the research on animals has also not been completed yet.
Similarly, Gluconamide also does not correlate with wrinkle care. The company assures its prospective consumers in terms of percentages, like fine lines reduces by 45%, skin discolorations by 47%, and skin texture is expected to improve by 77% but the company opts to stay silent when it comes to the duration in which one can notice visible results.
Overall Impression of the Product
Almay is a reputed company selling its products in the market since 1931 but it has not transformed its ways of manufacturing the product. It has been using the same ingredients for over years, while there are a plenty of known and proven ingredients to fight wrinkles nowadays. Making a hole in the pocket to only fetch a cream which is no longer very effective in treating wrinkles is definitely not worth it. It is better to go and search for some other anti-ageing cream than to go for Almay Kinetin.
